Exhibitor Rules and Code of Conduct

To ensure a productive, respectful, and technically focused environment for all attendees, exhibitors at the SEMI-THERM Symposium agree to abide by the following code of ethics:

1. Professional Behavior

  • Treat all attendees, staff, and fellow exhibitors with courtesy, respect, and professionalism.

  • Avoid aggressive sales tactics or behavior that may be disruptive to neighboring booths or sessions.

2. Technical Integrity

  • Represent your products and services truthfully. Do not make misleading claims about performance, compliance, or certifications.

  • Respect the technical nature of the symposium — presentations and conversations should maintain a focus on thermal and electronics cooling technologies.

3. Respect for Intellectual Property

  • Do not display or distribute proprietary materials belonging to other organizations without written permission.

  • Exhibitor displays must comply with copyright, trademark, and patent laws.

4. No Unauthorized Solicitation

  • Marketing, sampling, or promotional activities must take place within your assigned booth space only.

  • Distribution of literature or promotional items outside of your booth (e.g., session rooms, registration area, or meals) is not permitted without prior approval.

5. Confidentiality & Privacy

  • Do not collect personal data from attendees (e.g., badge scans, sign-ups) without disclosing how the information will be used.

  • Respect any “no contact” or “do not scan” preferences from attendees.

6. Compliance with Event Rules

  • Follow all exhibitor setup, teardown, and safety rules as outlined in the Exhibitor Manual.

  • Maintain a professional booth appearance and ensure it is staffed during exhibit hours.

7. Adherence to SEMI-THERM Venue Policies

  • Comply with SEMI-THERM policies, including the SEMI-THERM Exhibitor Code of Ethics, as well as all venue regulations.

  • Any behavior that violates these principles may result in immediate removal from the exhibit hall and exclusion from future SEMI-THERM events.
